Pornopedia.org is a free, online encyclopedia project that includes information related to sex and pornography. It includes articles about pornographic film actors, pornographic films and videos, eroticism ans sex.
It describes itself as a place for sharing, community building and entertainment.
Pornopedia is a media-oriented wiki with lots of photos and videos. It disposes of a splash page in order to restrict access to minors. It's also using autolabeling mechanisms (ICRA, RTA, SafeLabeling).


History

The project started on 2005,<ref>http://web.archive.org/web/20070517010042rn_1/www.pornopedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page</ref> when various webmasters from Europe and Unites States decided to create a place where they could place all their knowledge about the adult business, establish a meeting point for users and professionals and build a complete database related to sex and porn.

Content

Pornopedia is using content from the English Wikipedia. It uses a special template (EnWP)<ref>http://pornopedia.org/index.php/Template:EnWP</ref> to attribute every piece of content that proceeds from Wikipedia.
All content is available under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 License.
