History

The company was founded in 2004 by Dave Gallegos, who was previously the sales manager for Extreme Associates. The company's first 2 releases, Muff and X Vision 1 directed by AVN Award winning and AVN Hall of Fame director Miles Long were well received, and culminated in nominations for Best All-Girl Feature for Muff and Best New Video Production Company for X-Worx at the 2006 AVN Awards show. In 2005 X-Worx released the sequel for additional series Ass Fanatics 2 that was also well received. In 2006 X-Worx began distributing movies from Friday Productions.

AVN Award winning and AVN Hall of Fame director Miles Long made his directing debut at X-Worx before going on to direct at New Sensations, Third Degree Films and Zero Tolerance Entertainment. Long went on to garner numerous accolades, 27 AVN award nominations, an Empire Award nomination, a 2011 X Biz Award nomination for Director of the Year - Body of Work, a 2011 X Biz Award nomination for Gonzo Release of the Year for Nylons 7 and 3 AVN Awards: a 2009 AVN Award for Third Degree Films' The Cougar Club, a 2010 AVN award for New Sensations' Addicted and his 2011 induction into the AVN Hall of Fame.
