Taylor Rain is an American pornographic actress. She claims that she was attending school to become a flight attendant but changed her mind after the September 11, 2001 attacks and decided on a career in the pornographic film industry.

Pornographic film career
She has appeared in more than 200 pornographic films in a three-year time span, the first of which was under the name Nikki Star in Pop Goes the Cherry. Most of her work includes anal sex. She married Scott Fayner on January 10 2004. The marriage was annulled shortly thereafter.
Taylor has done very few lesbian scenes. With the exception of a lesbian threesome in Penetration Nation, those few scenes have been for VCA and all involved several girls at once. She also did a lesbian scene in High Desert Pirates with Felecia, Alexis Malone & Jynx, also for VCA Pictures. In December 2005, Taylor announced her retirement from acting in pornographic movies in order to focus on directing titles, and spending more time on her pay website, on which she submits photo galleries and hardcore videos, and chat with fans online. Taylor also announced in December 2005 that she wanted to settle down and start a family, and that retirement will allow her to do that.
She was the winner of the Porn Star Beauty Pageant on the Howard Stern Radio Show in March 2005, beating out fellow porn stars Kami Andrews, Railee, Renee Pornero, and Aurora Snow.
