8mm film loops

8mm film loops (a.k.a. 8mm loops) were pornographic films on 8mm film. The film were often refered to as loops because the films were looped over and over in the peep shows of the 1970's. These films were were the predecessor of the home video market, which would later be VHS tapes and later DVDs, and played on home movie projectors of the time.

These films were marketed by length of the actual film stock and a typical film length would be 200 feet. The length of the film directly translated to running time as shown in the chart below.
