Vanessa Blue is the stage name of an American pornographic actress and director (born May 27, 1974).
Blue has appeared in several films with her former fiancé, porn actor Lexington Steele. Many of her films are gonzo videos that emphasize her behind, such as Black Reign and Black Domina.
Blue is currently the only African American woman to hold performance and directing contracts with both Playboy TV and Hustler Video at the same time. She is also the first African-American woman to win an AVN Award as a director (in January 2005 for "Best Ethnic Series" for her first three titles). She sometimes directs under the pseudonym "Domina X".
With Steele, Blue co-hosted a show on Playboy.com called Lex in the City.
Blue has appeared in several mainstream magazines, including an interview with rapper 50 Cent in Rolling Stone.
